Hello all! My name is Missy and I just bought a 2014 TE. I love it!
I traded in my Jeep Wrangler for the reason that I saw one just like mine get T-boned....not a pretty sight and I realized I need to make a few changes in my life. Vehicle included. I love off roading and the only vehicle that caught my eye was the 4runner. I joined this form to meet new people and get new ideas and starting points for modifications of my snow ball. Right now I'm just looking at a small lift and different tires. Any ideas on where I can pick up some bumpers?

WELL HELLO, and welcome to the forum! you will find a ton of great information here to help you I am sure.

Hi Missy! Welcome to 4Runner ownership and to the forum. Great color choice. You're a smart lady for narrowing your choice to a 4Runner. It'll take care of you very well.

Your TE is a great platform to modify. I had the dealer put on BFG AT's before I took mine home because I knew I didn't want to wait to wear out the OEM's.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I look forward to learning some new things. Unfortunately, I bought her and went out of town for a few weeks. I really can't wait though! I was thinking of taking her out to the Apex or Nellis Dunes when I got back. Any ideas Doodz?

Depends on whether you like rock or deep sand. :) I haven't been to either. I was hoping you'd run them in your previous ride.

I've been all over Mt. Charleston, Red Rock, and Lake Meade with the Jeep. All different types of terrain. My favorite place is Mt. Charleston. Trees and mountains are my favorite environment. I'm not too fond of sand, bit the dunes out north of Nellis AFI are pretty legit. Just gotta watch out for atvs and bikes.

I'm with you on the trees and mountains. Check my photo albums here.

Yes, watching out for the "other" fools is the worst part.

I wanted to check out those trails when my Aunt lived in Henderson, but I never made it.

:welcome: Beautiful rig, I'm sure you're going to be very happy. LV! I'm so jealous... Love Vegas! But yeah, if you like trees and mountains, we got that in the south east. Guess you could always head south to Colorado too though.

Burro wash road in boulder city. Been to that trail a couple of times now. 3hr round trip more if you spend time at the river having fun.
