HELLO from Mi! 01 4Runner SR5

Hey there new friends! I recently purchased a 2001 4Runner SR5 4wd for my son. I drive an 07 slightly modded Dodge Nitro. Anyhow, the SR5 has high mileage (229,000) but, is pretty darn clean. No rust at all and everything works. It was a one owner vehicle. He's already putting together his wishlist. I've already put this site to good use since I've joined. I join sites like this with every vehicle I purchase. There are always a wealth of info and a ton of friendly people on these sites. I'm thankful you guys are here. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

I'm a 3rd gen guy, and there are tons of great people here and many threads for learning, getting ideas, etc.

My first 4runner was a used 96 one owner with 211k on the odometer. It ran great and it broke my heart that I had to sell it when the recession hit in '07-'09.

I will hopefully be able to that this weekend. I have to change the solenoids in the trans. Blows my mind that even happened. Without warning.
