Hello from Ohio-Added Pics!

I just came across this site tonight and decided to join.

I've had my 1999 SR5 since February of last year. She has 88,000 miles on it and counting. We've been through a lot together and by a lot I mean 3 accidents since then..lol

I don't have any pics yet but I'll put some up soon. I look forward to talking to you all

Hello from Ohio-Added Pics!

Took some pics of her today. She's dirty and wet thanks to Ohio weather. She's pretty stock as of now, except for the brand new tires I got last weekend.

Notice the dent in the front bumper..there's also one on the passenger side door from the same accident. I'm planning on getting them both fixed after the first of the year hopefully!

I highly recommend the ARB "Tacoma" bumper for our Runners-not that much more money and a heck of a lot more protection.

Thanks for the suggestion. Where could I find one of those bumpers?

It also has a dent in the passenger side door. I'm in the process of getting that fixed first because its rusting and all. So she'll be good as new once I'm done with her.

closest to you there is a shop in Cleveland area

someone on this forum is an asst mgr. there-he will cut you a good deal.

bumper around $650-with install around $800 give or take.

Hm. I just did some quick research on them. I like it and all but mine is just a daily driver since she's a 2WD. Would it look silly? I dunno..

nah it won't look silly but it is likely overkill for the occasional bumper tapping....

did not realize you were a 2wdrive-we just do not see those out here

then again we don't get too many females on the forum for that matter....

Yea I've heard from several people that an SR5 2wd is really rare. It doesn't look like a 2wd though, which is nice..lol

no one will even suspect it is a 2wd with a beefy ARB bumper up front.

The 99s sit a little higher than the later years-so ours look a little tall or "lifted" just as is-

kinda cool

people pay extra for that.....
