Hello from San Antonio

I felt it only proper to say hi now that I am officially a 4Runner owner.

I became a Toyota loyalist in 2008 after following a couple of Tacomas up Imogene Pass outside Ouray, CO.

I immediately went home and bought a 2008 Tacoma and drove it for a couple of years before it was traded-in.

In 2010, I decided to find the elusive 2010 4Runner Trail. My search was unsuccessful but I left the dealership with the FJ Crusier Trail Teams.

Now, 3 years later, I found myself a 2012 Trail Edition so I have the FJ up for sale now.

That is the boring list of events that brought me here.

I'll have to keep an eye out for you in San Antonio. I've only seen on other TE here that wasn't stock and I think those people sold it as I haven't seen it in over a year. All the others I see are totally stock. I wonder who buys a TE (especially in Texas where they are extremely rare) and leaves it stock. I'm always wondering if they even know what they have.

Viera, where is that first picture of you going over that ledge? It looks like Big Bend Ranch or somewhere in West Texas.

That's me alright. How did you find me?

I didn't... My buddy sent that to me knowing I just bought a runner. He was at the Guenther house during lunch when he sent the pic.

I never check the New Member section but accidentally clicked on it and saw 'San Antonio' so thought I would check it out. I remembered the stickers, went through my texts and found it from 9/5.

That was my first trip to TOTH. With the FJ there are a couple of events I attend: FJ Summit, Toyota Jamboree, Wheeltoberfest (defunct). Fortunately, the FJ events are broadening to Toyota events so I can still go.

Plus during the year I also go with the Toyota TrailRiders out of Dallas to different runs over in Gilmer.

Southern Cruiser Crawl is October 10th-13th if anyone is going.

1st T4R

After 20 years of owning a true full-size pickup (Ford F350), I decided to join the fun vehicle group. So, I went out and bought a 2014 Trail Edition as my first 4Runner. I love driving it, but haven't had the chance to add any mods. My goal is to have all my mods done by spring so I can enjoy the capabilities of the fantastic vehicle. I kayak, camp, hunt, fish and really want to start running some trails. I'm in north central San Antonio, 1604 & 281. Drop me a line.
