Howdy y'all I'm new here so I thought I'd introduce myself. I've got an '86 4runner with a 22re and a 5 speed. I'd been looking for one for quite a while and finally found one (at the same time I actually had some bucks to throw at it....that'll never happen again...lol) I found this forum while doing some research and was impressed by the wisdom.

lol I think I just got lucky. The truck needs a lot more maintenance right now though. It's always somethin'...

I hear ya..I'm just starting to replace vacuum lines and stuff like that on my '86. But that'sin the name of preventative maintenance...lol
