Just bought my first 4Runner, so far I love it. Was expecting little better mileage for getting around 18.3 mpg on first two tanks but it is an 05 limited with 4WD and V8. appears not to have a 2WD option on the switch like book shows, so guessing it is awd actually. Still great fun to drive so far on road not been off with it yet.

I have the same truck, minus the limited part. The switch actually shows 4hi or 4lo. Mileage sucks, but it'll shit and git when you need it to.
I don't know anyone down your way, I've heard there's a nice off-road park in Marble falls.
