Hello everyone. I'm from the bay area and will be purchasing my first 4runner this weekend. It's a 2003 Sport Edition SR5 4x4 V8. I've previously owned a Range Rover, but look forward to being able to modify my 4runner. Thanks for having me here in the forum, i've been browsing this site for many months in anticipation of me buying a 4runner. I plan on using the vehicle for commutes and weekend getaways to Pismo or the hills. If anyone can recommend a fairly inexpensive mod (lift, tires) that I would benefit from for use at Pismo for my stock runner it would be greatly appreciated.

I happen to be selling my 3/2 Spacer lift from Toytec. Fully Assembled too with Bilstein shocks in the front. For CHEAP!

I used to get decent MPG with that set up until I went to the 35s, bumper, etc. Ran that lift with 275s and Loved it. You can get 285s in with that lift with wheel spacers and a bit of trimming but nothing major.

I too had a RR. '99 HSE

I used to live in Los Altos, CA but now in Portland, OR but I do get down there as much as I can. Was just around a couple of weeks ago. But next time, we'll have to meet up.
