Hey im new to the forum I've never done it before. I own a 1987 4runner and I just blew a head gasket. I am wonderin if anyone has any ideas of why it over heated. Its not the thermostat or radiator. I haven't had to work on her yet so I have no idea wat it might be. Maybe the water pump?

Welcome to the forum. The Search Function is a great tool in a forum. I just clicked on SEARCH ,ADVANCED SEARCH and then then keywords HEAD GASKET and narrowed it down to Classic T4R's like yours and came up with 25 post about head gaskets on early 4runners. Toyota - 4Runner . org Forum - Search Results

Good Luck!
