Hello from the Philly Burbs

Hello all! My name is Tom and I am new to both the forum and to 4Runners. I just picked up a 98 SR5 last night, 188K on it. It's rough but I wanted to take on a project. I will start a thread so you guys can see the progress on her.

I really just bought it to run around in. I work from home most of the time and my son's school is only a mile from our house. There aren't many places to go wheeling around here either, I use to go to Paragon about 10 years ago with my Jeep.

I don't think it will see a lift (very little one if it does) but I will "toughen it up" a little bit.

Hope to make some new friends and school myself on 4Runners.

Welcome to the dark side...........

Welcome aboard!!! I went to the Paragon once with my Grand Cherokee. I went with the people of All American Jeep in Tamaqua for a jeep jamboree. Was a good time!

Sorry I can't really help you on your runner, but these things last forever with only regular light maintenance (NOT SO with Jeeps, I've had 4). Good Luck!
