Hello from Tundrasolutions! Can you guys help me out with tire size?

What's going on guys,

I was wondering if a set of 285/50-20 will fit on a stock V6 4Runner 2WD w/o any rubbing? I notice member 2K34R has a set of 295 ? ? and he says they do not rub but his signature also says 2"/3" lift with cornfeds. Thanks

It "should" fit and here is how I came to the conclusion:

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
265/65-17 6.8in 15.3in 30.6in 96.0in 660 0.0%
280/50-20 5.5in 15.5in 31.0in 97.5in 650 1.5%
265/70-17 7.3in 15.8in 31.6in 99.3in 638 3.4%

As you can see the tire/rim combo you want to use is actually a bit smaller than the 265/70 combo some people have upgraded to.

oops sorry, it is slightly larger than the 280 then but still smaller than the upsized 265/70/17
