Hello motor cutting out

I'm finally in front of my laptop and found the post that I wanted you to see, #96 http://www.toyota-4runner.org/2203451-post96.html Unfortunately, Oreily's auto doesn't seem to carry that fuel pressure test kit anymore. It's a bummer because that kit had the metric banjo bolt needed for Toyota fuel rails. However, I'm sure other auto parts stores carry similar testing kit for free rental.

In any case, it's a quick and easy test to see what's going on with the fuel system. This is an old fashioned test but I think it tells more info than trying to decipher DTCs. In my case, the fuel pump strainer was clogged with debris that was floating in the fuel tank.
