I recently upgraded my daily driven vehicle to a 4th gen 4Runner. Previous to the 4Runner my daily driver was a 2013 Ford Flex (FOR SALE!) and prior to that I've owned a variety of vehicles - 03 Jetta GLI (need to replace the turbo on it), 90 Mustang GT (other side of the Jetta), 08 Edge, 03 Jetta GLS, 98 Ranger, 90 Ranger, 87 Mustang, 84 Mustang. For the most part I've bled Ford and VW.. this is my first run at a Toyota.
After a long look and about 2:30hr drive I ended up with a 2007, Limited, 210K miles, meticulous records, in great shape for the most part. I had recently been considering trading my Flex for a 5th gen TRD PRO but decided to get out of the world of vehicle payments, and I'm glad I did. The 4Runner also affords me something my previous daily was missing, something enjoyable to drive, and no longer just a point A-B.
Big plans in the future after I clean it up a little. The pictures below were taken the day it came home, I had to immediately remove the mustache.
Anyway, there it is, Project Marshmallow (as my children have named it)
I'd also like to say thank you to the entire forum, as it has been a tremendous amount of help prior to the buy, after, and will continue to be.
