Hi! My name's Rick, I just traded my Jaguar for an '03 4R Sport Edition w/the V8 about a week and a half ago and the week before that I traded my wife's POS Land Rover Discovery for an '03 4R Sport Edition V6. If I'd listened to her 5 years ago then I could have saved myself a lot of money and wasted energy with those British (Ford?) POS's.

Glad to finally be in the 4R family. Any one from Missouri or Kansas in here? Need to find someone to hit some trails with!

Im from KC, Mo (north) Zona Rosa area, but living in Denver now, have you heard of Tuttle Creek ? out in Manhattan Ks.. can be fun, nothing compaired to the Rocky Mnts, lol
Look up the Trail Krawlers club Trail Krawlers 4x4 - Home great group of guys, Ive wheeled with them a few times..
oh theres also Ks. Rocks Park but theres a fee Kansas Rocks Recreation Park been there once when it first opened...

Hey glad to see a new member and from Missouri. I'm about 3 hrs. South; Joplin, Missouri. I'm thinking of buying a newer 4Runner for family car and keeping mine now.

About to put a 3" inch OLd Man Emu lift on mine then I'll bother you for some trail rides. Just ordered the 891 springs for the rear end.

Anyway, this place has the best information you can get. Anything you need to know. Search engine is good stuff. Later.

@ ric - That's so weird, I went to Park Hill High School, lived near Weatherby Lake growing up. I hadn't heard of Tuttle Creek before, thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check it out. I actually keep meaning to go to KS Rocks but I'm an inexperienced off-roader and even if I stay to the noobie trails I'd still like to get someone to go with the first couple times. That's crazy that you're in Denver too, the wife and I are planning on moving out there in the next few years, maybe the Aurora area (she lived in Uray for a few years and so we want to get back - we used to hit Estes Park every summer but then we had a baby and well, so much for vacations :crybaby.

@ bulger22 - I was just thru Joplin about a month ago, drove down to Taum Sauk Mountain and hiked to the Mina Sauk Falls (not bad for Missouri, actually, but you need to do it now during the rainy part of the year or the falls basically stop existing). Almost put an Old Man Emu on our old Land Rover, hear good things about them, gotta send some pics when you get it set up!
