Hey Guys, My name is Ryan and I have been looking into modifying a 4runner for awhile. We were going to purchase a 5th gen but then thought we can save and stick with the 4th knowing the 1gr is in many configurations we went with the 4th our favorite body 4runner. My wife and I just purchased a 2006 T4R silver SR5 4x2 for our family early this month.
Little info. I've built a few vehicles for my friends and own a few toyotas ive built for myself in my past. We use to attend many car meets, shows, and even competed. Long story short now that we are having two kids my car hobbies in modding have slowed down dramatically. I know how fast these vehicle can turn into money pits. I'm still really new to the 4runner scene. I have some experience in lifting a 4x2 tacoma my cousin owned but nothing crazy.
Time to look around and see what's a good. avg. setup decent lift 2-2.5" nothing that won't damage the comfort and reliabilty. Anyway, hope to meet a few members and and gain a little knowledge! Excited.
