hi, just picked up my first 4runner, its a 93 with 142000 kms on it. first pic is the truck when i got it and the second is after i put the correct size mickey thompsons baja atz tires, running boards removed and dynomax exhaust installed. still need to give it a good cleaning. Any advice to get finger print smudges off the paint would be appreciated.

Welcome to T4R.ORG! Very nice find with way low miles! She sits nice n level too. V-6 or 4- banger? A good cleaner wax should get the smudges out. If not a mild polishing compound should do it but probably won't be necessary.

it s 3.0 with a stick. All power options and everything works even has the cargo cover

Sweet! Have the head gaskets ever been replaced? That's the only problem these engines have. Blown head gaskets caused by the dopey exhaust crossover pipe behind the motor. Replace with headers and kiss BHG good-bye! Get a nice little HP bump too...

not sure if the head gaskets have been done dealer said it wasnt covered under the recall. What does the cross over have to do with the blown head gaskets?

The exhaust crossover pipe passes behind the cylinder head cooking it. Headers will redirect the exhaust gases down and away. Check out LCEperformance.com. I believe DougThorley makes some too.
