help, 2.7 fuel filter...

Im looking to change my fuel filter, I thought it was underneath like the v6 writeup shows. But after looking at it , the 2.7 truck fuel filter looks like it located under the intake manifold.

Is there any way of changing it without pulling off the intake manifold ?

Its tight under there.

If anyone on here has any tips or suggestions please share them.

I never did mine, saw it under intake and said screw it. My buddy has a 00 Taco with a 2.7 that I'll be doing this summer. Not looking forward to it.

my truck is getting some terrible gas mileage, just did the plugs and wires yesterday.

But I said screw it as well when saw the placement of the fuel filter.
