HELP: AC Compressor Cross Reference

After almost 250K miles, my A/C has died in the middle of an Alabama summer. I have been quoted a re-man compressor from Toyota with Toyota Part#: 88310-35770-84. I am trying to find the matching DENSO compressor and need the DENSO part number. I want a NEW compressor and not a REMAN. Any help would be appreciated! If someone has replaced their AC compressor and had no issues on fitment, I would appreciate any information you might have on that as well.

Thanks Durk! I looked at the site as well and checked Amazon out too. I am just paranoid I will get the wrong replacement without cross-referencing the number. The dealer quoted me $378.19 for a 1 year, re-manufactured compressor and I figure I can get a new one with a 1 year warranty for much less.

The Denso Cross-Reference data base does not always work, even when Denso is OEM. I think MAF sensors have a similar issue. The application look-up has been reliable, as far as I know. It's worked for me on a number of items.

I just saw that the number you have is an update from 88320-35600 which also does not cross and is the number I get from toyodiy.com for my truck. I would be confident in using that Denso number 471-1164 if I were buying. Both Amazon and Advance Auto confirm that that number fits 3.4L V6 '96-'02 4Runners.
