HELP!!!!Changed knock sensor now wont start

i have a 92 v6 3.0 just change out the knock sensor and now wont start up its caking its just not starting not the battery had it checked.... wire that went to the sensor looked a bit buggered up but would that keep it from starting ????? if its a bad ground or what its not giving any codes just the steady blink

There's a fair amount of dis-assembly required to to the KS to replace it.
A lot of things could have been messed up during the job.
Since it's "caking" (cranking??) but not starting, could be no fuel or no spark.
Two things to look at to start with.

Your engine light blinks steadily when you jump the diagnostic port? Or just when they key is turned?

(13 flashes with a pause between is the code for a defective knock sensor... are you sure it's a steady blink?)

Did the timing belt have to me off? If so. Timing could be off.
