Hey guys, I know i've read this somewhere but i can't seem to find it.

So i've hooked up my HID kit that i got from xenon depot (H11 4300k Xtreme Philips Xenon HID) and when i turned it on No LIGHTS!!! i tried switching the bulbs to the otherside which i was pretty sure didn't do anything but it was a start and still no lights... any suggestions?

Thanks!

So troubleshooting update: I also installed my LED parking lights which also did not turn on. I switched it back to my origionals and it turned on... so parking light check... tried high beams which were not changed and it turned on... check. Car starts so battery is good and i have the lead wires connected correctly to the positive terminal. And both of the fuses for each headlight looks in tact. Looked over wireing and it looks good from what i can see.

Since it was a newer HID kit both sides should work independantly meaning even if one side doesn't turn on the other shouldn't be affected by it. Or at lest that what im assuming. But in this case both sides do not turn on. I've read something about reverse polarity on the HID kits but i don't know if that pertains to mine? anyways not sure where to go from here.

i think the hid kit u have, u installed it reverse polarity, switch it around and it should work.
i dont work for retro-solutions, i have there kits, its always top notch, also why does xenon depot steal there info off their site, see the charts, only retro-solutions have it first, xenon depot stole all there information and use it on theirs.

if you had the same problem as me.. you flip the connectors around..they should still fit into the harness, the connections are probably reversed.

Could be the connection at the ballast, it happened to me twice while I was installing my kit and my friends kit.

ALso... for the white plug on teh H11 kit... make sure the pins inside line up correctly. Mine wasn't turning on because when I plugged the white plug in, the pins weren't aligned and there was no connection. One quick phone call and XD knew exactly what was wrong. Hope that helps. GL

not sure if you did or not but make sure both bulbs are plugged in before trying. if just one of mine is unplugged neither work

Hey Guys I got it to work!!! It turned out boostedprozac was right and it was the plug that went into the OEM headlight connector.
I just had to straighten the prong out to get the proper connection

Again thanks for all of your advise! :D

be careful on ebay..check feedback for the kit and see if people have had issues....make sure feedback is old too so its not some new person that just threw up a bunch of kits on the site and got feedback all less than a month.
