Help: How to Remove Side Stickers (Strips)

Hey 4 Runner enthusiasts,

I'm planning to remove those stock 3 piece side stickers (strips) for my 92 4Runner and I'm having a quite diffucult time removing it. Stickers are more than 13 years old, so when I'm trying to peel it off, it tends to break into millions of tiny pieces instead of peeling off smoothly.

So, it would be great if someone could advise me on removing the strips efficiently.

you can also just use a heat gun and try peeling again...

I've had luck getting stickers off other vehicles by heating them up a small section at a time with a hair drier.
