help installing USASPEC device

Hello,

Just bought USASpec to connect my IPOD the the stereo of my 4runner.
Have someone done this work before? Any special hint regarding the installation?

Where did you located the box? Close to the IPOD or close to the stereo?

When you remove the center console assembly there are some good spots to drop them down in there, assuming you plan to keep your ipod around the center console. I'd keep it closer to the stereo if you plan to mount the ipod around the dash area.

I mounted mine on the front inside wall of the center console compartment with the plugs for the input cords on top. I use both cords at various times for ipods and Treo, and the cords go out the front without getting pinched. Velcro tape around the cords and stuck to the sides keep the cords organized and from taking over the compartment. I couldn't come up with any good way or place to have the cords coming out of the dash.

Thank you. I put mine in the same place. Unit is not working as expected. I have not discovered how to select any special album within a playlist... so I pit the unit the other way round, i.e. with the deep switches facing up, so I can move from Playlist mode to direct mode easily...
