Help! Is This A Good Deal For A 1St Gen 4Runner???

yesterday on the way to my girlfriends house, on the outskirts of my little town, i passed by a 1st gen for sale,
here is the ad:

i stopped by and looked at it today and it appears to be really clean, the interior is perfect except for the arm rest which will need to be replaced. it looks very well maintaned, the tires look great, it has a three inch lift and the seller said he just did a compression test and a full brake job and he says it runs great. please give me some input on what i should look for and what you think about this one?

What is it an 88 or an 89? 3 inch body or spring lift? Check the frame by the gas tank on both sides for rust, If you can hit the frame with a hammer to find thing spots. They rust out right there. The early V6's had had gasket problems, toyota recalled them. Some were fine, You could do a google and find a place to check the VIN which would tell you if it was part of the recall.

I wonder about the lift? IIRC there are no lift kits for Automatics.
What kind of lift does he say it has.

seems to be in good condition...but If you want it you should have a shop look it over first.

And yes like stated above check for rust over rear wheels(body) and frame rust.

257K is starting to get up there, it's OK if it was well taken care of.
