help me decide on a 4runner for cabo

hey everyone,

so I'm moving to Cabo San Lucas and looking to buy a 4runner in California and drive it down at the end of this month.

I'm looking to spend about $4k to $6k.

Can anyone give any pointers, with that kind of budget?

For example should I be looking for a 2wd or 4wd model etc. Auto or Stick, is stick more reliable?

My knowledge of the 4runner and all the different models etc is basic.

Any pointers appreciated.

There is a guy in Long Beach that has a nice 4runner for sale for 4k. Needs a heads a head gasket but other than that ever clean truck! PM me if you want more info. 5speed 4x4 also w/ lift.
