Help me decide on my 4th Gen

Well guys, I've made my decision and finally caved in and will be buying a 4th gen v6 Ltd with 18" wheels this week.

The dealer is allowing me to switch for 17" wheels from a Sport edition on the lot. Should I do it? Given that the runner will see some offroad duties for the occasional fishing hole and camping. There are alot more tire options out there and plus its cheaper to replace this size. I really like the look of the 18" wheel though. What should I do?


As well, I'm looking at the cornfed 2.5" lift. What is the everyday ride like compared to the Daystar spacers or Rev tek system? yeah I know I'll seach this question.

That is great that they are willing to switch out the rims. You might also want to immediately upgrade the Dunlop Grandteks to a BFG or Bridgestone Revo in the 265/70/17 size. In the Revo you probably just need the passenger rated one.

There is no difference between these spacers in terms of everyday ride. They are just spacers so brand won't effect your ride quality.

They are however made of different materials, but that was not your question.
