Help me figure out these angles on my bumper

Edit: Angle 3 to 4 the 8" section is a lot straighter than I'd like to be, that is visually helpful.

Yeah, at an angle just 2* off of 180 I think it'll be more trouble than it's worth.

If I were in your shoes I think I'd come off the top green line to where you'd intersect (if it continued of course..) the second green line, and then cut a more drastic angle straight to the bottom green line...

Just a thought.

If I am honest, I think youre 7" "face" is just too tall... It's going to look funky back there I think.

Here's how it'd look if you made it how I mentioned above....

And here's how it'd look if you did the above, but also made the "face" 5" tall, and matched the angles of the two angled lines...

I completely agree with you. Unfortunately (I am ashamed to say) it took a friend and I close to 6 hours to come up with the design we have now and to change one line would affect the rest of the bumper. I can manipulate the angle as needed. The gap between the second (8" section) sheet of metal coming up from the bottom on the side and the body is very tight if I try to make it more aggressive rather than straighter. My second template does not show such a straight awkward line it actually looks more appealing. I am hoping that with the plastic and hot glue that will be used for my final template I can see the lines and angles more clearly as the tape hides a lot now.

Edit: The 7" face is a little drastic but the reason for it was to close the gap between the top plate of the rear bumper and the tailgate/rear hatch. Don't like the look of a big gap. I may trim it down to 6.5 or 6".

Edit 2: With the addition of the tire carrier which will be on either side of the rear plate I think this will hide the "large forehead" look. This is also a reason for a large face. I will be integrating the roller hinge and clamp on either side of the plate.
