About a month ago I put a used set of 99 coils on my 01 just to clear a set of tires.
Pretty soon after hauling some cargo and running some basic trails I learned this wasn't going to cut it.
95% will be highway commuting to work and the rest weekend trips camping, fishing, etc
What my cart consists of.
OME 890s
Bilstein 5100 rears (1.5-3" model)
FRONT
Retain 99 tall coils
New top hat assemblies and nylocs
Lower shock mount bolts
Steering rack bushings
Now for the the front shocks I am having a hard time deciding between the 4 runner 5100s (3 position), tundra 5100s (5 positing), or the Eibach 4 runner adjustable fronts (3 position).
I am leaning towards the Eibachs on the middle perch for rough 2-2.25" of lift. They seem to have better reviews compared to the bilsteins concerning ride quality.
With this setup, I should be able to avoid a diff drop and any bump stop extensions, panhead bar issues hopefully.
Anything else I should consider?
