Help Me ID This Lift!

Bought my 4Runner used with an unknown '3" lift'.

Front springs are marked with white/pink dots on one side and yellow/white ones on the other while the rear springs are marked with Blue/Green dots.

Front springs have a small spacer on the top hat with another between the spring and top hat. It clears the worn 33" Mudders without much issue, has a small amount of rubbing but it's negligible.

Pics would be nice. I don't know the codes for the 99 springs so maybe that's there paint pattern for the front? Is the rear a lot higher than the front? Measurements could help a bit too. There is a Landcruiser spring with a purple green white dot. Is it possible a white dot is above the blue and green dot you see on your rear springs?

I couldn't see it, that's entirely possible. I'll try to get pics up today sometime. The truck does sit perfectly level when there's nothing in the back, though.

You have a spacer lift up front. The springs are most likely stock. You might have some spacers in the back as well.

I'm about to go to a true 33" tire (MT Baja Claw), am I going to have serious enough issues to worry about changing the lift or will I be able to remedy it with a hammer and fender rolling tool? The wheels on it are Classic Locks with what appears to be negative offset. They stick out a solid 4+ inches from the fender lines and have a couple inches between the tire and the ball joint.

It's hard to say without any measurements. Even then it may be hard to tell since you seem to have very little backspacing. I don't know what size 33's you're planning to run either and that could make a difference also.

I ran 285s on my stock suspension for a while with factory 16" split 3 spokes with just over 4.5" backspacing. I did have slight rubbing even on the street even with a hammered flat pinch weld.

what do you mean by a true 33? like a 33x12.50x15? or what, im running 285 70 17s on stock trundra rims an i have some rub, but its not bad, a true or traditional 33 ie a 33x12.50x15 will rub like crazy, its taller, and wider and your rims sound like they are gonna shove the tire out farther, and that will in turn cause the tire to arch when i turns(making it travel a father distance) and there for you will have bad rubbing on the firewall and front bumper. what you are asking is very unclear, and yeah confusing.

on a side note, you have what looks like just puck, or spacer lift of some sort that is rather old and is starting to break down, and crush. and it doesnt look like very much of a lift either, maybe 2"? . idk i could be wrong.

It has 33x12.50r15's on it now that barely scrub. The Baja Claws are 33x12.50 as well but will actually measure out to 33", so slightly taller than the tires that are on there now. From what I can tell, they only rub at the rear outside corner of the fender in the front.

I wish I knew the specs of the wheels as far as BS and offset are concerned. Would I be better off buying a different wheel with more offset to tuck the tires in more? What specs are the best for clearance? I'd like to stick to a 15 or 16" wheel.

My only real worry is that the side lugs on the mickey thompsons will catch the rear fender when it's flexed out as the tires now just barely tuck up in there.
