Right now I'm torn between two lifts that I'm looking at. The first is the Daystar setup (with the top out and pre-load spacer), and the second being from Toytec which looks to be about the same front setup with the pre-load and top-out spacers and comes with replacement coils for the back. Quick details: I have new tires already that I got off a friend. BFG A/T's 265/70-17. I do go wheeling. Try to at least once a month. Truck is also my daily driver. I do carpool and commute about 65 miles a day for a week every three weeks. Just thought some of these would answer q's in advance for some of your inputs on how I use my 'Runner.
If you all believe the Daystar is fine for around $150 then I'll go with that. If the ToyTec lift can be justified for it's $300 price tag and the extra $150 in improvents over the Daystar, I'll swing that. My budget is a little tight (whose isn't these days?) so I'm trying to be modest right now. Down the road in maybe two years or so I might be going with a front coilover of sorts, but that'll be then.
