Help me put together my lift parts list!

Hey guys. Long story short, I come from the Tacoma world after building a 2015 dclb that was set up just right. Unfortunately it was totaled and I just bought a 4th gen 4Runner Limited V6 that I’m looking to build up now. I’m taking off the X-Reas suspension on there now and starting fresh all the way around.

Here are my goals-

Have more ground clearance and a good ride.
Be able to hopefully clear 33” tires
Be capable for light offroad and light overlanding

I bought a set of Fox 2.5 Factory IFP extended travel coil overs from a member here. So now I need to figure out how to set them to get the height I need. And need to pick out my rear springs and shocks...

I’m turning to you guys and your knowledge to help me put together what I need to make that happen. All advice and recommendations are appreciated.

Dobinson's seem to be the best bang for the buck, and crikeymike is probably the most helpful supplier that exists on the planet. When I finish attending to some maintenance items, I'm probably going to look into the Dobinson long travel rear setups.

Agree that the Dobinsons system is the best all around. If you are wanting a smoother ride quality, the other option to consider would be the Eibach pro-truck lift. That's what I have, and it does an excellent job of preserving ride quality on and off road. That said, it is not a full 3/2 lift, so 255/80/17's will rub in a couple of places until you replace the bumper.

So basically, if you want to go long travel and have lots of options go Dobinsons. If you want something adjustable with a smooth ride check out Eibach.
