Help me spend $2000

Ran in to some cash. Let me know if this a good plan or if there are better options:

33x12.50x15 $800ish
1.5" Bj spacers and 2" rear spring spacers $150 (EBAY)
0-2" lift Pro-Comp shocks $150 (EBAY)
Rear Aussie locker $315
Warn Manual Hubs $ 225

All prices researched and include shipping cost. Remainder of the cash will go towards making the front end solid. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I already have a lift and tires but I need a front and rear bumper, winch and a rear locker. Let me know if that works for you, it should be right around the 2k mark. I'll pm you my address so you can have the parts shipped to me :D

In all seriousness, don't waste your money on the warn hubs. You can get Aisin hubs which are stronger and better than the warn from a junk yard or online for much less than the warn hubs.

I would also put money into a good rear locker and good tires before you buy a lift kit. If I had a chance to go back and change my build, I would have done some good 33's and a locker before anything else.

You're on the right track though. Get a locker, tires and armor first. Then lift as necessary.

Wont 33's have the possibility of some rubbing action? If the suspension is worn out I would replace that first. It will allow the truck to handle, stop, and perform better with more ground clearance (armor would be a wise decision too when doing the lift so you dont find yourself in a pickle.) I agree Warn hubs suck.
 
Suggestions on armor? How much am I looking at? If I get the Aisin hubs, what will be required to make them like new? Should I assume a rebuild kit is necessary with them?

The OME lift is $640. Thats about $100 shy of a bracket lift. Why not go that route then?

FatBobs has 2" lift with replacement springs, shocks and diff drop for $490. Any thoughts on their products?

If nothing else, rockauto has the CC255 rear replacement springs to fix that sag. Mine should be here, well... today.

Locker-whatever you can afford after ^ that stuff.
if extra cash- buy some steal and make bumpers/sliders (can do all of that for $250 in steal)

He was talking about spacers...coil spacers for the rear, not bj spacers for the front. But yes, don't use coil spacers. I would suggest getting some OME rear coils with the 2" over stock lift. Bj spacers should be fine though up front.
 
Armor first, rock sliders and a good skid at least. Recovery equipment next - I really like the exhaust jacks, and a handwinch is good to carry if you don't have an electric on your bumper. A couple good straps, shackles, recovery points. Then lift and tires. Personally I think you should hold off on the locker until you know you need it, you'll be a better driver that way. When you do go for the locker, don't forget to budget for the install as well, unless you're getting a lunchbox or know how to set up gears.

Do not buy from Fat Bobs. They're nothing but a lousy dirty garage that operates a sideline as an internet reseller. They've got nothing that you can't get cheaper elsewhere, and if the poor reviews they get locally are any indication, their customer service is garbage.
 
He asked why he shouldn't just get a bracket lift. I have a 1st gen and don't really know about the OEM lift honestly. But I like my bracket lift for the most part, cept the blocks in the back... Lockers are wonderfull
 
I would do the lift, locker and tires first. Best to buy the best you can here. The OME kits include shocks and the lift and ride is awesome. I had a 2" kit in mine for a few years and loved it.

Armour is important but the need for it depends a lot on where you go and how you drive, and you don't need 'new'. I picked up my sliders and rear bumper together, used for about $150.
