Help me spend my money!

Hey guys, I've intermittently saved up some money for the past year or so while also putting some upgrades on the runner.

Heres what ive got now:
OME/Bilstein lift on it
SPC UCA's
Durobumps
295s
washer relocation
4xinnovations sliders
1" BL (plan on removing once I get some nicer suspension)
E-Locker retrofit
and a ton of front end maintenace/OEM parts.

Anyways I'm about ready to spend the $1k I've built up from putting cash away. How would you guys spend it?

I'm leaning towards some full skids w/ gas tank (BudBuilt, RA Motorsports) because thats kinda the weak point and ive already partially caved in the tank. Another option would be new rear links (Sonoran Steel) and bushings for the rear links because they are pretty much done. A custom bumper is another option, but im too indecisive lol.

What do you guys think?!

Honestly, sounds like you covered everything I could think of under $1000. A bumper on either end always looks great and provides some great protection! But most (especially for rears) are over $1k. That is if you buy them prebuilt, I think SRQ has a weld-it-yourself kit, if you're capable! If you warrant them, skids will absolutely pay for themselves in no time, too. I've seen the aftermath of some that been through the Rubicon and such, and it's outright unbelievable how banged up they get - then you remember if you didn't have it, those dents would be holes in your oil pan!

Yep, I was mostly talking about a front bumper, If i were to go for that i'd still throw in a couple extra hundred for good measure. I'm leaning towards a budbuilt skid set with an RA motorsports aluminum gas tank skid. That washer relocation is just a kit that moves the windshield washer tank from in the passenger wheelwell to just infront of the airbox, TONS more space for tires. Here's a link to Sonoran Steel's, its much nicer than the one I got lol.

Lockers and regearing arent an easy task and could easily go over a grand if you dont plan on doing the work yourself. It kind of depends on what route you are aiming for. Based on your pic a nice full roof rack would look pretty sick. The aftermarket engine/transmission/gas tank skid plates would be a great idea. Is everything mechanically sitting well? Could anything use a upgrade?

ragofabrication.com makes some pretty sick inner storage panel that i just added to my list. You can find them here. Maybe that and a couple skid plates if
everything is mechanically fine.

Off topic: How are you liking those 4x rock sliders? Any cons yet?


Edit: a proper transmission cooler would be a great idea if you like to climb.

Yeah, as much as I would love gears and lockers, that would end up being well over 1k as I do not have the skills to regear... Leaning towards a gas tank skid and some rear links/bushings. Those are the only thing that really need attention (to my knowledge). Already have a trans cooler and thank God I do because or else the trans would have melted by now. Would love a bumper though....

No real cons to the 4x sliders, not expensive, taken a few hits, they dont look the best but not the worst either imo. Just paint it before its welded on or else its a major pain
