HELP! My 4runner wont idle but still runs...

1992 T4R 4x4 3.4 v6 197,xxx.

today me and some buddies were muddin my 4runner and we hit a rutt and we bounced up. it was like hitting a speed bumb going 30 kinda big butt not bad at all. Then my car stalled and stopped. So when i tried to start it it wont idle at all. but if i really pump the gas and get the RPM um to about 3k it works. it sounds really clunkey and chunkey when its running. Any ideas?

engine stalled, then wont idle... what codes you got? may have gotten a little water in the intake and dowsed your internals a little. quick fix- sea foam and a oil change and spray some throttle body cleaner up the intake and throttle body. just a thought though, check your codes see what were working with.

I'd look for loose/broken electrical grounds to injection components- like you hit the bump, maybe you broke something loose.

the olny code is the parking brake light that has always been on since i bought it. im thinking something like a cracked distributer cap, Melted spark plug wires, Or spark plugs. My buddie said it sounded like a dead cylinder or 2.??? ANy idedas?
