HELP NEEDED Anyone with 20-22" rims please replay

OK All! I am on my 2nd set of 20" rims 1st set was Panther Vectors, and now I have Zinik Mozotti's with the same tire as the 1st set Goodyear Eagle GTII 275/45/20. The 1st set I had a problem with them vibratinging bad at 55-60mph. Well the place I got them from said the wheels were defective so I got the Zinik's instead. The very next day I has the same damn vibration issue as the 1st set. I took to to get them road forced balanced at a different palce today and they would not touch them till it got hub rings because I have a 1/8in gap between the wheel and the hub. I am truley lost now! I am getting mixed stories that I need hub rings and that I do not need them. Can someone with 20-22" wheels tell me if they have hubrings installed on there wheels and if so where did you get them, and if not what rims you have inttalled. Any help is appreciated...

I do not have hub rins installed. I get a small vibration at about 55. It only happens sometimes though. I had mine balanced 3 times to get to this point.

sounds like your tires are not true...by true, i mean perfectly round...even though you get your tires balanced 50 times, if your tire is not perfectly round then you will get vibration...i would try rotating your rear wheels to the front to see if that cures it...if not try to find a place that trues and balances tires...

this really sux! I cannot have either of the 2 rims that I had because no matter what they do they still cause a vibriation at 55-60. They even had a Hunter rep come out and balanace the tires and still get vibration. They are giving me my money back...

I have a update folks...

I got my money back from the place that I have been dealing with and went somewhere else and guess what? They hooked me up! I got the 20" Zinik Monza black with Nitto 265/50/20 tires and no vibration at all. The place that I was dealing with was a joke! Now I know where not to go got after market stuff.

I went to No Limit on Bel Air Road in MD..

They are the best when it comes to rims..They really know what they are doing!!!!!!

I have had these rims now for a few weeks and have been back and forth from Ocian City and have not had a issue. No Limit is the best in my book!

glad to hear everything is resolved i was sorry to hear your thoughts on the mozzotis as those were the wheels i was looking at, but at the same time the story sounded a little fishy. My local wheel shop told me that there is no wheel that cant be balanced(just about) thats when i thought that it was something with your tires, as it had happened to me before(i had cupping on one of my BFGs)

anyways, glad to hear everything worked out great!
