HELP!! no power

i have a 2011 sr5 4wd the car suddenly died on the road had it towed to my house. i charged my battery and found out my alternator isn't working. I bought a new alternator and installed it, after installing it i checked to see if its charging with my surprise its not charging my battery, i checked all the fuse and they are all good. took out the new alternator had it checked if it is working the shop said it was good. now i don't know what is wrong with my car. please help.

How dead is the battery? If it was drained too low, the alternator will not recharge it. Depending on if it is a flooded battery or an AGM will determine if it can be saved.

the battery was around 11v but when i replaced my alternator i also put in new battery.
