Help not sure if its the door actuator

My remote can not lock the doors, but its able to open all the doors. Can not lock doors manually from driver side and passenger side also. If its the actuator then which one should i replace? Both of them couldn't went bad at the same time. Thought it was the remote acting up but it also does it on the spare and both batteries were replaced not to long ago. Im dumbfounded. It just when i open all doors including back opens but when i leave i have to manually lock all doors including the trunk. Any info would be great. Its a 2002 limited.

Hi, I am having the same situation. The remote control unit cannot lock or unlock doors, also when I shift to "P". Same problem with power lock/unlock button on driver door .

Problem fix. It was the junction box (bcm, body control module). Dealer wants to charge $565 for the part. Pick one up at the wrecker yard for $100 fix the problem. My 4runner was a 2002 limited got the other part off a 2001. Just in case anybody wants to know. Search junction box
