Hey guys,

I am new to this site and I need suggestions. I am looking to buy new tires for my 1999 black 4Runner SR5 2WD. I want bigger tires than I have but I don't want to get a lift. Please help on what tires you suggest for me! I would like to get them as big as possible without needed a lift. Let me know prices it you can. Thanks in advance!

Determining from the post, I'm sure this rig will stay on-road for 99% of its life (also the fact the it's a 2WD).

265/75/16 All-Season tires. Michelin Cross Terrain, BS Dueller, etc. etc. etc.

couple good all terrains are the bf Goodrich A/T or toyo open country A/T both have very good tread ware and good for just about anything

I think it looks funny to put A/T tires on a 2wd vehicle. Do y'all agree? Mine is 2WD and I am still deliberating between Yoko Geolander H/T and Continental CrossContact LX.

it all good everyone has their views i personally like the look of more aggressive tire

I got some BF Goodrich Long Trails. It was almost $600 for four of them at Sam's club. So far, so good! I like them very much. Quiet on the road, good traction in snow. Can't tell about off road yet, check back with me this spring ;)
