Help pls

[T-95runner]

Hello all. New to this forum but just. Bought this 95 runner
And am having problems I don't understand new to toyota
World. But. Vehicle gets got. Waterpump works can see water circulate
In radiator took thermostat out. Still gets hot. Won't idle eithr?
Also has small knock I was told could be injector
Sounds like lifter to me but has a miss that is
In conjunction with knock ??? Please. Help

If you have a 95 it is a second gen which I thik on this forum is under Classic t4r. If you have the 3.0 V6 they are known for head gasket issues. I would check in that section and search head gasket or overheating.

x2 on everything Pikeman said, definitely sounds like a head gasket issue to me, too.
