For me, to get the high beam indicator light to work, instead of trying to find out which resister worked, and worrying about having a resister overheat, i just used a small light bulb. Basically mimicked how it works for stock with a little current flowing through the regular headlight when the headlight switch is one high. I found if you use too small of a lightbulb the bulb actually lights up and then doesn't flow enough to get the indicator to work. With the correct size bulb, the bulb just flashes for a fraction of second when indicator is switched from low to high, but goes right back off since indicator bulb restricts the current enough it doesn't stay one.

No, I can't remember off hand. The 4runner is actually in the shop getting a new torque convertor, flex plate and rear main seal installed otherwise I would just go check. Hopefully I will have it back in a few days and I will let you know. I think most automotive lights would work. Back up light, overheard light, brake light, etc. The first bulb I used was very small. It might have been one of the bulbs for the dash, and that was a little too small.
