The pioneer unit on my 05' 4runner stopped working a while ago, and I decide to replace it with a factory/OEM radio unit I bought from ebay. The previous owner upgraded the audio system and took off the subwoofer.
Yesterday, I took off the pioneer unit and installed the OEM unit and plugged in the harness, antenna and power cable. The OEM unit worked but the speakers didn't. No sound at all.
The pioneer unit didn't damage or rewire the factory harness for speakers. All the difference I noticed is that there are two small speakers hanging on the side window frames. I believe they are separated from the factory speakers.
Now I have no idea what to do next. Any one has any suggestions please? Thanks.
