Help - SPC UCA install

Man, I'm about to just blow this car up. :D

Installing LBJs, suspension, and UCAs. Expected this to be a lot easier but the UCA removal/install has been the worst part of it all.

I've gotten the old upper ball joints out, but when trying to press in the SPC inserts they won't go in straight. No matter what I do one side will start to go further and obviously that isn't good.

Anyone had this problem? Any advice? I'd hate to have to pull the whole knuckle off and take it somewhere.

I think the biggest problem I was having was the rental ball joint press I had from O'Reillys wasn't the best fit on the bottom of the knuckle. Using the adaptor wasn't working - the disc is too big and wouldn't sit right against the knuckle. So I had to rig it a bit, but it worked.

Passenger side worked like a charm after hitting all the roadblocks I could (or was going to) on the drivers side. ;)
