Lights/Turn Signal Switch compatability question
Hey guys, I'm hoping to get some advice here, I'd really appreciate it. I have a '99 4Runner with broken turn signals. The lights still work, I've pulled the switch out and it's cracked all the way through.
On Ebay motors, I've found a store selling a whole combo switch (which goes all the way through the steering column and you can detach the switch I need) from a '98 4Runner, and also one selling just the switch I need from a '03 Tundra (Tundras and 4Runners share alot of parts) that is VISUALLY IDENTICAL to the switch I have which is broken.
They are both pretty cheap and I'm wondering what the possible chances are they could be compatible with mine. There are only a few changes from the '98 and '99, but the dealer says the parts are a different #, so it might not be compatible. The picture from the '03 Tundra is identical, I took a picture of mine at the same angle in the picture of the ad and everything is the same.
So which one should I buy, if any? Thanks.
Roy
