Help: URD 7th Injector EGR Port installation

Hi - I'm in the middle of installing EGR Port on the back of my 2nd gen TRD supercharger. There are these two studs that I need to remove. According to the URD instruction - I can use 5/32 allen wrench can be inserted to remove these studs. But the more I look at it I'm confused how 5/32 allen wrench can fit on to remove these studs. I'm a complete noob when it comes to tools. Thanks in advance!

There exist bolts that have a female end Allen cut into the center of the stud that will accept an Allen wrench effectively making the threaded rod portion into the bolt head without the need for a hexagonal bolt head. Based on your picture, I do not see where an Allen wrench can fit. You will most likely need to screw on 2 nuts and tighten them together and use a wrench or socket to then remove the studs.

you have 2 options. If they do not currently fit (long enough) to install the 7th injector and put the nuts back on, then they have to come out. So do this,

you still have the 2 nuts you took off of them. well screw both on one stud, yes 2 on the same stud, then put your open end wrench on the one nut thus locking the nuts together and twist the first nut that was placed on (the one closest to the supercharger) and unscrew it, lefty loosey, you will use the first nut, being pressed against the second nut sandwiching them together to back the stud out of the supercharger. once its off, use 2 wrenches and back the now tight nuts away from each other and repeat to the other stud still on the supercharger.

thank you [MENTION=132702]ZionXIX[/MENTION] and [MENTION=14772]shootmymime[/MENTION]. I used the two nuts method and loosened it. The one closer to the body of the supercharger was a ***** to remove because there was not much of a wiggle room to play with. I ended up taking off the whole stock intake and manifold for more room. Thanks again for the quick response!
