Help! Vibration/stutter/unrythmic issue on hwy

I just bought a 2002 SR5 4wd and it has been vibrating/jolting between the speeds of 35-50 on the highway. It jolts and feels like something isn't right for about 5 seconds and then goes away and drives fine. The rpms do not jump and I am not seeing any codes or lights come on.

Please help me if you have had similar issues or know of what it could possibly be. (please help it not be the tranny already)

If not the tires, then try the driveshaft....

I had a similar problem that developed at a slightly higher speed. Are you getting a vibration and a loud humming? Mine turned out to be u-joints and a driveshaft (aka driveline) that was out of balance. Had to replace the u-joints and then balance the driveshaft.

My experience has been that when it comes to the driveshaft, I take it to a driveshaft shop. Regular repair shops try their best, but you have to have special equipment to do the balancing. That is just my 2 cents...
