All i'm wanting to do with my T4R is level her out in the front. What size spacer do i need to do this? 1", 2", 2.5", 3"? I've been checking out different products from daystar, toytec, and cornfed and can't decide what will do just that. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I just installed a toytec spacer and fj cruiser springs on the front. I got 1.5 inches of lift, very nice and level. Ride is actually better, although id advise the rear fj springs as well. I dont have pics yet but should have a thread posted in a day or so. The toytec spacer I have is listed to give 3/4".

So, did the 1" spacer level out the front end? I'm just thinking that 1" might not do the job, and i don't really want to change the front coils like you did.

1" isn't enough imo, but 2" is too much imo. Those are the only kits available. At first I didn't want the springs but they were needed to get the desired lift. Im glad I got them, ride is much better.

I've been considering doing the 1" Toytec spacer, and adding their 1/4" spacer on top of it. Seems like that would do the trick, just haven't emailed Toytec to see if it's feasible.

I started to run that setup, but they really advised against it. It becomes too much topout spacer. The springs didn't add much difficulty to the install and were worth every bit of the extra time.

OK, I got my little write up finished and posted. Take a look at the pics and it'll give you an idea. There is still a slight rake left, but that's just what I wanted. Any higher and the running boards are noticeably higher in the front. Click Here for the thread.
