Hello All,
Installed a Magnaflow exhaust on Saturday morning and everything seemed to be great up until today. Sound is awesome and install seemed simple enough(took it to a muffler shop and they took care of it in 30 min). Got to the golf course today and noticed that there was smoke coming from underneath the truck. After some investigation it looks like there is a plastic heat shield where the pipe bends(re: above the rear axle) that was starting to melt. Anybody else have an issue with this? Is there any way to remedy it? I suppose it would be possible to add a metal shield but wondering if it would be an issue if I left it as is. Thanks!
