help with back scratch/dent

okay so my brother was pulling off a trailer and he hit my 4runner with it causing this. any ideas if i can fix it or should i just go take it to a repair shop?

or if anyone has had similar damage and got it fixed, how much did it cost?

I don't think PDR is worth it, since the paint is damaged. Some really good PDR guys can get that out.

I would take it to a body shop. If Toyota offers the rear hatch skin, it'll probably be reskinned.

2.5-3 hours repair plus refinish and replace emblems. Don't put a new skin on that, it's a minor dent, just needs to be repaired.
I wrote an estimate w/ 3 hrs repair. $619.43 was the total for my area w/ taxes refinish and all. Hope that helps!

Body shop for sure, I had a similar scratch on my door panel, and you can't even see it now

wow between you needing a new engine and now a dent you are not having much luck. I just had a local bodyshop take out a two dents and a scratch. The charge me $350 to pull the dent and repaint the section

i see the tail light is also chipped. maybe glue the piece back on so no water gets in, if thats possible.

thanks for the info im going to go around some body shops and see what i will be charged. and the tail light is fine just the outside plastic casing is broken the glass on the inside is still good.

ya but after i get this fixed it will be the last thing i need done for a while. except my windshield is cracked but my dad is paying for that =)
