Help with FJ Coil Part Numbers for Swap on 2007 Sport Edition

Hi all,

First I want to say how much I really appreciate everyones help on this, it is much appreciated.

I'm in the process of swapping out my coils to FJ's and ripping out my xreas and replacing it with billstein 5100's as per the recommendation of many on this site.

The 5100's are easy enough to figure out the right thing to order, but i'm confused on the springs. I've managed to find what i think are the right part numbers but hoping someone can confirm. PS- I know I can probably hunt around and find used ones but I really don't want to wait. I'm hoping someone can confirm these are the correct part numbers for the springs.

Also, what setting do you guys recommend for the front billsteins?

I'm having my mechanic do all of this work as I'm not very technical nor do I have the desire to be!

Here is what i came up with for part numbers, I used the GSJ15 (which I believe is the 4x4 FJ Cruiser)

4813135541 (believe this is the front right)
SPRING, FRONT COIL, RH made by Toyota. #4813135541

4813135551(believe this is the front left)
SPRING, FRONT COIL, LH made by Toyota. #4813135551

4823135321 (I don't know if this is the rear left or right)
SPRING, COIL, REAR LH; SPRING, COIL, REAR RH. 1 COIL made by Toyota. #4823135321

4823135420 (I don't know if this is the rear left or right)
SPRING, COIL, REAR LH; SPRING, COIL, REAR RH made by Toyota. #4823135420

i dont have the time to hunt them down. im already working a good 60 hours a week and have two little kids.

used can be found free quick. i think i got both my trd off road front coils and rear fj coils in a day of searching. both were local

I'm actually trying to do the same exact setup with 5100s and also had difficulty locating a decent pair of used FJ coils springs. Then I remembered I have a friend who works for a Toyota dealership and decided to just call the parts department and request the #s. Here's what they gave me (I asked them to provide me the upgraded part and not base model part)

Front Coil Springs p/n:
48131-35571 & 48131-35561

Rear Coil Spring p/n:
48231-35331

Man that looks awesome, I'm about to do the same thing (Just ordered the 5100s). What settings did you go with on the front shocks? I run a v6 as well and I like the lift you've gained.

Thanks. I'm very happy how it turned out. I have the fronts at 1.75 coupled with the fj coils. I also have a 1" spacer in the rear. Tires are 265 70 17. Be ready to replace your cv axles as an FYI.

About to start the same on mine. Why did you have to replace your CV axles? Just wear & tear and the lift ended up being too much for them, or?
Would you mind posting the full parts list you ended up going with, aside from the coils (thanks [MENTION=128204]iicky[/MENTION]!).

the cv issue is common, there is a bunch of threads on it too. i think basically from the rubber on the boots being in the same position for 9+ years it doesnt like to be moved, and when we did the lift, they tore after a little driving.

Billstein 5100 shocks front and rear, if you go to autoanything.com it will walk you through the right stuff.

Ok I have a major n issue with what i just shared. I looked on autozone and they have the same replacement spring for a V8 as a v6. Not only that but there is only one spring not two separate sides. So one spring to go on either side of a V8 or a v6. Now on partznet.com there are 4 springs. A left and right spring for a V8 and a different left and right spring for the v6. Wth?

I am bumping this thread from earlier this year because I had the same question about FJ rear coil spring P/N and I didn't see an answer here. When I search online for 2007 FJ rear coil spring there are two P/Ns to choose from:

4823135331 (GSJ10) $74.79
4823135321 (GSJ15) $99.72

Does anyone know the difference? Both say they are for LH/RH. I would be putting them on a 4R 4WD V8 Limited if it makes a difference so wondering which one to buy?
