Ha nope, I wish! We are just going to saturdays round. Tickets for the whole week were around 6k a pop.

The only hotels left are pretty much crap. Staying at a Quality Inn (crappy one at that) for 668 for two nights!!!!! They are making the most out of that week I guess...

Bummer on the hotel though, shame there's not a GA member on here somewhere than could put you up for a couple days.

A Freddy fan! Good man! I make a point to follow him at most tourneys I go to, great golfer to follow and watch. I would say him and Bubba Watson are my favorite guys to watch.

Speaking from the Dad's end of the spectrum (my 2 sons have been out of college >15 yrs now) - I can assure you memories like this are a lifetime-long and priceless.

I always took my sons to stuff; drag races, fishing, shooting, tractor pulls, Road America, all that stuff.

Now they turn it around; Road Atlanta, Indy, charter fishing. They have good jobs, and can afford it, so I let 'em. And it's so great.

You gotta take care of loved ones, you never know what tomorrow brings.

Thanks for all the feedback folks, I bought my masters tickets last night and made hotel reservations this morning and boy am I excited to go.

On a side not I also bought the best tickets in the house for my mom and I to go see the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and a very nice meal beforehand. Can't forget about mom during this! She set up a weekend with my dad to go to the mountains as a decoy to us going to the masters so this will be a surprise for my dad up until the day leading up to it, so I have my mom to thank for helping with the secret.

Good choice man. I surprised my dad a few years back with a trip to The Masters. Through a family friend, we ended up getting clubhouse passes and everything. He still talks about it to this day. Definitely well worth it!
