Im looking at sites that i have bought things from before and on this site it has the option of "w/pre runner" and "w/o pre runner".
Im guessing i want the w/ pre runner right?
And does anyone else have any recommendations for a cheaper OEM parts site?

Cheap isn't necessarily something you want to go with when LBJ failures on Toyota OEM parts occur. I replaced mine with Napa parts and I'm very satisfied with them. They were less than the OEM stuff but not "cheap".

Have you looked at Rockauto.com? Sometimes they have some good prices on quality parts. I just received an email saying they have a sale on overstock items. Most of the overstock was priced at 50% off the normal price.

Havent looked at rockauto.
I meant cheap as in Original Toyota Genuine Part cheap. Because there are differences in prices on various genuine dealer sites.

Tacomas had different specs between 4wd and 2wd models, unlike the 4runner

The 2wd had even wimpier front ends, if you can believe that

So, if you got the Prerunner package from Toyota it was a 2wd with the front suspension, among other things, of a 4wd.

So you could just order Balljoints from a Taco with 4wd, or get it WITH the Preruner package

The Prerunner model, wether a 2WD or 4WD is a 6 lug, and non Prerunner is a 5 lug (from 98-04). 95.5-97 had no Prerunner package, so 4WD was 6 lug and 2WD is 5 lug. I'm not sure why their website says 95-02. That's odd.

I buy all my stuff from Carson Toyota. They have cheapest I've seen locally and since you are local you can do the will call and pick it up yourself and save on the shipping

Thanks! just looked up their price and its better plus like you said i can save on shipping. My nearest dealer is Hooman toyota and the prices there are really high even for a dealership.
