Help with level kit and tire size

I’ve been gone for a few years after selling my 02. In the process of buying a 16 trailP. For now I’m just looking to level it and throw some nicer AT’s on it to fill the wheel wells a bit more. Any any recommendations on level kits people have been pleased with and max tire size without rub would be appreciated.

I would strongly advise against going with super heavy e-rated tires unless you're rock crawling often. I'm very impressed with my stock sized K02's (C-load range).

Congrats, here's our 1" front. This will never compress and you won't lose any of that lift over time. Also, no spring compressor needs for the install of the 1" one.

Yeah I only drive about 6k a year and hit the mountains maybe twice and a few hunting trips so I’ll def be looking for a lighter tire, my last set of KO2’s destroyed my mpg in the city[emoji1360]

Hello,

I started off in the same boat as you. I purchased the leveling kit below and went with 285-70-17 BFG KO2's E-Rated. No rubbing what so ever! I also ran a 17x8.5 wheel with 0 offset.

I would also suggest a diff drop kit from toytec, or amazon. This combo on your trail model T4R, will take you through 80% of the trails out there, and the ride quality still feels stock!

I ended up with a different runner but yes I have it now.
